I called Bico Stereo to see if they could fix a couple of speakers that weren't working in my truck. Gino, said come on in and we'll fix it. As soon as I got there he had his team looking at my truck. They had my stereo working in less than an hour! Price? Next to nothing! While I was waiting, Gino helped a couple of other customers that came in. The prices he was quoting and the service they were providing exceeding my expectations by a mile. I highly recommend using this brick and mortar location over any big box store or online service available. You wont be disappointed.

Had them replace door speakers and replace factory amp with new amp. Before starting this, I did all of my research and provided them with documentation and forum links for all of the audio wiring they would need. In my car, the factory amp is in the drivers kick panel. Three problems with the physical install - 1) they installed the Focal crossovers in the kick panel which makes getting to them very challenging if you need to make any changes (and the Focal crossovers do have switch settings) 2) the battery on my car is on the passenger side near the firewall. Since the factory amp and all of the wiring was driver's side, I figured they would run the power wire from the battery down the passenger side (like most forum members do). Nope. They ran the power wire across the engine bay and down the driver's side to the trunk where they installed the amp, and 3) the factory head unit uses a 6v turn on signal to the factory amp. Initially, they tried connecting this signal to the new amp, but this did not work. A simple PAC TR-4 relay switch tied to a 12 volt signal would have handled this very neatly. As part of the noise troubleshooting, they ran a new wire to the fuse box to get the 12 volt signal. Fortunately, this works, but the signal was there from the HU to begin with. Functionally, there was all kinds of random noise issues. Sometimes the system ran clean, sometimes I had whine and sometimes I had a loud crackle. After diagnosis, they decided to install ground loop isolators which solved the noise problem instead of spending the time to properly fix the ground loop issue. Between poor placement decisions and no extra effort to properly diagnose the ground loop / noise issues, I can say that if I had to do it over again, I would not have started with Bico. On the positive side - decent pricing and they did work around my schedule. Summary: they can get the job done, but don't expect any more than that. Poor placement decisions. No extra effort to properly diagnose the noise / ground issues - they simply threw in GLIs, which may or may not have their own issues.
