  The customer service I experienced today was nothing short of outstanding. In January, I subscribed to AT&T U-verse. A 24 month promotional price and 3 free months of HBO was included. I received my first bill and discover the promotional discount was not applied and I was charged for HBO. I called customer service every month trying to correct my bill. Every month, the nice lady apologized and assured me that my bill would be corrected on my next billing cycle; but, it never happened. I called the AT&T store out of sheer despiration and Chance answered. I briefly described my billing problem and the frustration I was developing trying to solve it on my own. He told me I could stop by the store anytime and ask for him and he would walk through the process with me to correct my bill. 30 minutes later I was standing in the lobby with all of my bills and printed copies of the e-mail confirmations AT&T customer service provided after each monthly phone call. Chance cleared a table, sat down with me, studied my monthly bills exactly like an accountant would and simply said, "I will help you, this isn't right." Chance called customer service on my behalf, he knew all of the right questions to ask and was able to articulate the problems with my bill much better than I could. Before I left, Chance was able to give me an exact dollar amount I can expect on my bill, confirmation numbers for the correction of adding the promotional discount as well as deleting HBO service, increased my internet speed from 6mbs to 25mbs for the same price, and a customer complaint log number if I have to call back for anything in the future. Chance was professional and made me feel like he really cared about my problem and that he was personally trying to correct a wrong for one of his customers. I am deeply appreciative.
